Gregory is the youngest of four children. He has two older brothers and an older sister.
His father works in Cebu as a driver and groundskeeper for a well to do Philippine family. This has allowed him to support his family slightly better than many in the village.
Recently he has developed health problems that has the family struggling due to reduced income. We have been helping as his health has deteriorated. He needs surgery to resolve his problem.
Here is a picture of him shortly after he was born. I am not sure that I can explain it fully but you will notice the cloth coverings on his hands. As I understand it, it is customary to not cut the baby’s fingernails for the first 45 days. These are put on their hands to prevent them from scratching their face and eyes.
Gregory is growing and developing very well with all the other children determined to help each other be the best that they can be. I don’t have any newer pictures since they do not have a working camera there but he is a lively 2 ½ year old now.
