It’s almost time for school to be over. The children are busy with end of school projects and now the program practice is hitting full stride.
The program consists of a dance competition with other schools in the area. Several of the girls are practicing almost every day.
One of the things that amaze me is the commitment expected by the school from the children. There is very little time for family time or free time as the school year ends. This commitment of time is for general projects and programs and not for scholarship or competitive subjects, but for general subjects.
One of the reasons I suspect that they have so many dance programs and competitions is that for a school that is so equipment challenged that is something that doesn’t’ require much additional equipment.
Anyway, they are practicing as if their lives depended on it.
