I mentioned in one of my last blog posts that the school was almost ending. They were practicing for a dance competition.
I asked how the competition ended last week. The school that most of the children attend came in third. They were disappointed, but from my standpoint, the fact that they came in much higher in some of the academic portions is much more important to me.
The academic knowledge is long lasting and more important than the dance program. What I mean is that academic knowledge is what will last for years. With few famous exceptions, once school is over, the dance knowledge and skills will have very small benefits long-term.
I am happy they tried their best, but I am very happy that they have learned their schoolwork.
