Monday morning Philippine time, Sunday evening our time, Inday and Babeselle were getting ready to go to Sindangan to get some supplies. They had walked up to the National Highway to catch the bus. A tricycle thought they might ride since he only had 2 other persons, so he stopped.
Babeselle dropped her bag and the contents spilled on the ground. She and her mother started picking up the spilled contents. The tricycle continued to wait in hopes of making a more profitable trip to town.
I have asked them to not ride the tricycle from where they wait for the bus to Sindangan. The tricycles don’t often get up to a speed that the rest of the larger traffic travel at so there is always passing and swerving, etc. I never felt safe for them to travel that way.
The bus they were waiting on came down the road and somehow didn’t see the waiting tricycle and hit it. I haven’t had any updates since the shaken ladies sent me the message that they didn’t go to town. At that time, 4 people were taken by ambulance to the hospital, one of which the policeman said was very badly hurt.

I would like to thank God for His protection since neither of them was hurt in spite of being so close to the accident location. I am so glad that they were taking the bus instead of the tricycle.
We depend on your prayers and support every day and thank you for keeping them in your prayers.
