Monday, June 4th was the first day of school. Our children were able to be equipped with the school supplies that were donated by our supporters. The older ones still need uniforms as I mentioned in a previous post.

The school allows the students to wear what they have until the first of July as the final deadline for having uniforms. That will help us have time to get the uniforms needed.
As I have mentioned before, they do not have a camera to take pictures or video. Bud Brown, a retiree that lives in Dumaguete helps children and families as he can. He has a great video he posted of the first day of school there.
It is on the island just north of the children’s home in a much larger city. However, I think you will enjoy his viewpoint.
Here is a picture or two of the school where the children attend.
