I made a presentation about the children’s home at a church recently. After the service, I had a man come up to me and ask about ways he might be able to help. I mentioned several ways that he could help if he was interested.
He thanked me and told me that he think about it and would be in touch with me. On Tuesday, he told me that one of the pictures had really touched him and he wanted to help toward that need.

In my slide show, I had pictures of the kitchen where Inday cooks for the children. It showed a picture of the single burner gas camp stove that she uses when she has the funds for LP gas, and the two wood burning counter top stoves that she uses other times.
She is using it to cook for between 26 and 32 children, depending on the day. She will cook the rice and then set it to the side to cook soup and then set that to the side if there is a third item to cook.
He offered $100.00 toward the cost of a stove. A 4-burner stove will cost around $375-430 to purchase and have it delivered. The funds can go into project savings until we get the balance.

It will be a great help to her.
